    For the Jingle Jam Game Jam of 2024, hosted by the Yogscast, I created the game Neon Capital. The theme of the jam was "Everything has a cost". I interpreted this into a short story driven puzzle game where every move costs energy. The idea of the game was that every level was a single month where you had to make it to payday. The mechanics play around with this mind set of barely scraping by. A level sees you take a boring shorter path instead of a more fun and expensive path. Another level you have to time sales on movement in such a way that you just about make it to the end in time. The game ends with a message that sometimes it's worth it to give something without getting anything back, by spending energy to help a smaller npc. This to keep in spirit with the charity of the Jingle Jam
