For the ninth game of the “12 games in a year” challenge I had set for myself, I went back to an older game I released, 12 cats. I wanted to remake this game now that I had more experience with Unity and game design in general. I decided to continue the 3D style I used during the other games this year and created a 3D side view of a moving train. The idea is that you slowly fight your way to the front of the train with each fight. In between fights, you can spend your level up points on new moves and attributes to become stronger. For this game, I wanted to go a lot bigger than previous projects. I made a large number of moves and enemies. I also focused on the general aesthetic of the game, creating a special black and white filter for all the non gameplay elements of the world. This gave a very interesting effect.
