    Game

For the eleventh game of the “12 games in a year” challenge I had set for myself I went with something relaxing. This game is heavily inspired by the songs of Gregory Alan Isakov, both in themes and feel. In this game you are the person that operates the night sky, pulling levers and pushing buttons to shape constellations and resize the moon. All the while, songs play from an old radio. The puzzles are in the form of randomly generated orders for how the night sky should look. The player has to determine the right phase of the moon, its size, and which constellations to show. I wanted the setting to be very surreal and stylized to capture what I like about the songs so much. In the end, this became a cute game with a nice and relaxed feeling.
